Traditional Home Temple

Aarsun Traditional Hare Krishna Temple is made with fine quality teak wood and carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans. A home temple or a prayer unit plays a major role in our house by instilling our homes with positive vibes.  This specific home temple has 3 major parts.

1. Top: At the top, a dome is placed with fine designs and carving. In front and sides of the dome lies Mehraab with ethnic style floral carving with designer Shikhar.
2. Garbgriha: The Center of the Traditional Home Temple consists of 4 pillars and Open space in front of the main area which has Jaali Doors. The sides consist of Jaali pattern with peacock design and the back is in plain teak plywood. The open area consists of small railings
3. Base: The base contains 2 drawers for pooja essentials. Slider /  pull out tray is provided for placing Dhoop / Diya adjacent to which are two Cabinets with Beautiful Elephant Heads carved in the front. The whole Temple is supported by 4 legs.

• The unit is in an antique dark walnut matte finish. The unit is a fixed Home Temple.
• Lighting Provision is made inside the temple.
• Please note that the Home Temple is made from teak wood (Sagwan Wood) except for the base where idols are to be kept, the back, the top as well as the inner portion of the drawers which is made from teak plywood.

1. Very Strong:  Teak wood is a hardwood obtained from broad-leaved deciduous trees, and it is exceptionally strong.
2. Moisture Resistance:  Home Temple made in Sagwan Wood has good resistance to moisture and water.
3. Termite Resistance: Sagwan wood has natural oil content that resists termites (white ants), fungal stains, and also repels other insects that can destroy the wood which makes the Home Temple termite resistant naturally.
4. High Dimensional Stability: Sagwan wood does not warp or shrink as compared to other wood materials thereby making the Home Temple free from any distortions or shrinkage over time.

Caring:

• You can use a good quality thick cotton cloth in order to rub the dust and retain the natural luster of the Temple.
• To protect it from fading, avoid keeping the product near windows where it can be uncovered to direct sunlight.
• Do not keep warm items directly on a furniture surface.
