Lal Krishna Advani Will Get Bharat Ratna Award, PM Modi Made A Big Announcement

Former Deputy Prime Minister of India and senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Lal Krishna Advani will be honored with Bharat Ratna. The Modi government at the Center has announced to give Bharat Ratna to Lal Krishna Advani.

PM Modi said that LK Advani is one of the most respected politicians of our time and has an important contribution in the development of India.

PM Modi wrote on the post, 'I am very happy to inform that Shri Lal Krishna Advani ji will be honored with Bharat Ratna. I also spoke to him and congratulated him on being honored with this honor'.

Senior BJP leader and the country's seventh Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani was born in Karachi, Pakistan on November 8, 1927 in a Hindu Sindhi family.

Lal Krishna Advani started his political career through Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In 2015, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour.

Advani held the post of the seventh Deputy Prime Minister of India in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee between 2002 and 2004.
