On Tuesday, many users suddenly logged out of Facebook, due to which confusion spread among them. Instagram, Thread and WhatsApp also stopped functioning. On social media site Twitter, Meta's ND Stone has assured its users that they are trying to fix the problem.
Experts have said that Mark Zuckerberg has suffered huge losses due to this major down time. Mark Zuckerberg suffered a loss of $100 million on Tuesday due to disruption in the functioning of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Technical problems occurred in all the social media platforms of Meta. Such a problem had also occurred once in the year 2021 when the social media platform remained closed for 7 hours. This time however the issue was resolved in just 2 hours.
A Facebook official has said that their internal system was also down at the time of this problem. Meta's service dashboard was giving messages of major disruption for many services. Experts say that the problem in Meta's platform could be due to coding errors.
